The Committee for Perth will lead by example for our members, stakeholders and the broader community in acknowledging and embracing the rich history and cultures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians. By helping to build importance cultural pride across Perth communities, we will effectively facilitate reconciliation, create opportunities for all and celebrate the special place of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples as the Traditional Owners of our nation.
Our vision for reconciliation is that Perth becomes a city that truly acknowledges, pays respect to and celebrates its Noongar Aboriginal cultures.
