MRA Scarborough Draft Master Plan
This submission on the draft Scarborough Master Plan has been prepared by the Committee for Perth with assistance from its Reshaping Working Group.
The Committee for Perth supports and congratulates the Metropolitan Redevelopment Authority and the City of Stirling in taking a strategic and collaborative approach to transforming the Scarborough beachfront into a nationally significant destination.
The Committee for Perth generally supports the draft Scarborough Master Plan including the proposed development and development heights. However we have some concerns regarding access to and connectivity of the Master Plan area. We also believe that action is needed to ensure a high quality development/design outcome is achieved.
