Alan been a partner at Corrs for nearly 30 years and specialises in managing challenging scenarios and resolving complex issues.

He is a skilled problem solver and project leader in the property, projects and infrastructure space, with many years’ experience leading Corrs’ teams to help his clients across a range of sectors to find solutions, unlock opportunities and realise their business objectives.

As a result, he has been credited with shaping a number of major property development and infrastructure projects in Western Australia. Alan has advised clients in the aged care industry for many years, including in respect of facility purchases and sales, and development and management arrangements.

Rachael advises and represents clients in relation to a broad range of regulatory and commercial disputes.

Rachael’s diverse experience, strong problem–solving capabilities and focus on achievement make her an effective strategist and dispute resolution specialist. Her litigation and alternative dispute resolution experience crosses many sectors including infrastructure, resources, aged care, health, property and environment. Rachael has appeared as counsel in a range of courts and tribunals.

Mr Graeme Prior is the co-founder and CEO of Hall & Prior; which began with a single family-owned nursing home and now operates 27 aged care communities across Australia, offering world-class care and employing 2,500 permanent staff.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia and is a chartered accountant. Having worked with the top four international accounting firms Mr Prior recognised his passion for aged care while running his own accounting practice. Giving back to the local community while advocating for aged care globally has always been the cornerstone of his business ethos.

Along with his passion for the industry he has an innate understanding of the issues facing aged care; his commitment to supporting research and education and significant sector investment, including designing and building new, world-class aged care homes that respond to Australia’s growing demand for quality aged care choices in both workforce and care outcomes.

His current positions include; President, International Federation on Ageing (UN Auspice Organisation based in Toronto), with a focus on delivering global outcomes in aged care; Deputy Chairman of the CRC for Mental Health and Chairman of Audit and Risk Committee; Director of the Australian Aged Care Workforce Industry Council; Committee Member of the Commonwealth Department of Health’s Aged Care Sector Committee (Ministerial Appointment); Chairman, Australian Alzheimer’s Research Foundation.

Jennifer Lawrence was appointed CEO of Brightwater Care Group (Brightwater) in 2016 and is a strong advocate for change and innovation in the aged care and disability care sectors. She joined the organisation in 2003 as General Manager, Care Operations and most recently held the position of General Manager, Disability, Research and Risk.

Prior to moving to Brightwater, Jennifer held a number of executive roles in the private pathology industry, both in Perth and interstate.

With a strong focus on innovation and technology, and considerable strategic development and management experience, Jennifer also has a strong clinical background in medical science.

During her time at Brightwater, Jennifer has been responsible for overseeing the building of new aged care infrastructure and a $20 million redevelopment of the Oats Street rehabilitation service site. She also established the Brightwater Research Centre and has published and presented research internationally.

Jennifer is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a member of the Australian College of Health Service Management, a member of the Dementia, Ageing and Aged Care Research Mission Expert Advisory Panel, and a member of the UWA Public Policy Institute Advisory Panel.
