Tony Chong is the Perth Managing Partner of global law firm Squire Patton Boggs and leads its Asia Desk in Australia.

He is a strategic, commercial advisor to a range of corporates (both listed and private) and high-net-worth individuals and renowned for his ability to identify opportunities and bring parties together.

Tony brings significant interest and knowledge of the Asia Pacific business communities and their interests in regional investment and expansion. He has an extensive network of contacts in China and Southeast Asia.

A recognised mentor to ethnic leaders, Tony has been an active participant in the WA Government’s Diversification of Boards program and is the Senior Vice President of the WA Chinese Chamber of Commerce.

His passion to see Perth flourish as a livable, vibrant and diverse city sees Tony actively engaged with government, business and the arts community. He has a strong background in managing and bringing together diverse stakeholder groups.
