Journalist, ABC Radio Perth

Nadia has long had a passion for current affairs and politics, which inevitably drew her to a career in journalism.

While studying a Bachelor Arts degree at Curtin University Nadia, was offered her first full-time job at GWN when she was 19. She worked in Bunbury and Albany before returning to the city to head the Perth bureau.

Nadia then moved to the Ten Network where she spent three years working as a general news reporter, before heading overseas to satisfy her desire to see the world.

She eventually settled in London where she worked as a Producer for Associated Press TV, assisting in its coverage of major world events.

Homesickness and freezing winters drove her home and into the Channel 9 newsroom where she spent 13 years, most of that time as the state political reporter.

Nadia is now a journalist on the Mornings Program on ABC Radio Perth.

She is also a board member of Awesome Arts and St Peter’s Primary School.

She has a passion for travel, food and sport and is a loyal member of the Fremantle Dockers and Perth Scorchers.

She is married and has a ten year old son and eight year old daughter.
