Perth Airport's Transformation

We invite you to attend the next Food for Thought Leader’s event at which the Committee will be hosting the Perth Airport's CEO, Kevin Brown.

Perth Airport has undergone major transformation to make it a world class facility in recent years delivering:

  • $80 million Terminal 1 International Arrivals expansion;
  • $160 million Terminal 1 International Departures upgrade and expansion;
  • $120 million Domestic Terminal 2; and
  • $200 million Terminal 1 Domestic Pier.

Perth Airport is currently planning for the future to realise the vision of consolidating all commercial aviation services at Airport Central. Consolidation will provide a seamless customer experience at Perth Airport.

At this event Kevin will share key insights into the Airport's transformation and what we can expect in the coming years.

Kevin Brown

CEO, Perth Airport

Mr Brown commenced in the role of Chief Executive Officer of Perth Airport, the operator of Perth Airport, in July 2016.

Mr Brown has been involved in operational and commercial roles in both hub and regional airports for more than 15 years in the UK and Australia.

Prior to joining Perth Airport, Mr Brown held the position of Chief Executive Officer of North Queensland Airports, which operate Cairns and Mackay Airports, where he was responsible for implementing a growth strategy for both airports.

Mr Brown also spent nine years with the British Airport Authority (BAA), and was Managing Director at Edinburgh International Airport.

In 2017, Mr Brown was appointed to the Tourism Western Australia Board and is also a Council Member for the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Western Australia.

Mr Brown is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.

Mr Brown holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons), Masters of Business Administration, a Master’s of Science and is a Chartered Electrical Engineer.
