2020: A year in review

This year we were pleased to finalise our 2019-2020 major project Hashtag Perth through the release of Boorloo Kworp, which made nine recommendations about how to boost Perth’s reputation as a place to live, work, study, invest and visit. We also commenced work on our 2020-2021 major project the Future of Work. Since its launch in August, we have published three FACTBase Bulletins and will be releasing results from a major survey and two more bulletins in the new year, before launching the final report in September next year.

With more than 140 pieces of research published over our 14-year history, the Committee for Perth continues to add to the evidence base to better understand Perth’s opportunities and challenges of growing to a region of 3.5 million people. All our activities align with our mission to make a difference to Perth through our thought-leadership, fact-based research and solutions-focused approach.

Our members are a ‘coalition of the willing’, organisations that provide ongoing financial and intellectual support to ensure we have the resources to produce the thought-provoking work that leads the debate about a shared vision for Perth. A place that is liveable, prosperous, vibrant and connected.
