The Centre for Aboriginal Studies, Curtin University of Technology, was commissioned by the Committee for Perth to research local, national and international Indigenous cultural centre sites. Specifically, research focuses on Western Australia, Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin and Alice Springs, and Cairns in North Queensland. Internationally, the research identifies cultural centres in Native communities in Canada and North America and Maori sites in Aotearoa/New Zealand.
