City of Subiaco Activity Centre Plan
This submission has been prepared by the Committee for Perth with assistance from members of our Reshaping Working Group. I take this opportunity to thank the City of Subiaco staff members for their briefing to this group on the draft Activity Centre Plan.
The Committee generally agrees with and supports the vision statement contained within the draft Activity Centre Plan. The City of Subiaco and the Subiaco Activity Centre is an important location within the Perth metropolitan region. It supports a high level of economic activity and accommodates residents in a location that has strong links to a number of important destinations.
It is our view that the City of Subiaco has the potential to strengthen its role as a secondary activity centre by enabling significant growth in both employment and residential development.
