In presenting the temporal and spatial trends in the Perth and Peel metropolitan region, this two-volume report presents a thorough examination of Perth’s demographic, economic and social characteristics. The report not only highlights the trends and spatial patterns of Perth’s population growth and structure; it also presents the changing patterns of growth and distribution as well as the increasing diversity in the region.
The data compendium that accompanies the report is aimed at providing key stakeholders access to a consolidated set of statistical information on the population characteristics, family and household characteristics, employment and income characteristics, and educational characteristics and human capital attributes of the 40 statistical local areas comprising the Metro Perth and Peel region.
