About CGM Communications

CGM Communications is a 100 per cent West Australian owned strategic communications agency, based in West Perth.

Founded almost 10 years ago by Daniel Smith, CGM has grown into a high performing 12-person team, with a strong multi-disciplinary offering in community engagement, government advocacy and media relations, as well as digital and design.

CGM has five specialist practice areas, in trade and investment communications, social license and reputation management, crisis communications, planning and regulatory approvals and public campaigns.

CGM believes early and consistent engagement, as well as the pursuit of win-win outcomes, are the key ingredients to successful long-term relationships with stakeholders.

While CGM has a passionately West Australian focus, they maintain a network of overseas and interstate partners to deliver international and national campaigns.

Why CGM Communications has joined the Committee for Perth

CGM Communications joined the Committee for Perth because we are passionate about making WA a better place to live and do business.

Like the Committee for Perth, CGM has a strongly West Australian focus. Our 12-person team of community engagement, government advocacy and media relations professionals are strongly networked in WA, with deep knowledge and experience in what makes our State tick.

Also like the Committee for Perth, CGM takes a research-driven approach to communications and engagement, developing strategies to address risks and opportunities as they are, and get our clients to where they want to be.

We have long admired the work of the Committee for Perth from afar and meant to join long ago. We’re pleased to be on board and looking forward to contributing to the Committee’s work, for the benefit of all West Australians.

Acknowledgement of Country

The Committee For Perth acknowledges the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.
