From the CEO - March 2022

February has been a busy month that saw the release of our first two research pieces which inform our Race to the Top major research project. FACTBase Bulletin 78 and 79 are both available on our website.

Following the Strategic Planning Workshops undertaken in February with members, the Board will meet this month to set the direction for the 2022-2025 Strategic Plan ahead of its release in the middle of the year.

This month, as we plan our activities we will continue to engage with members whilst being responsive to the Government health directives.

Already planned is the release of the final Bulletin of the Race to the Top series later this month to understand how graduates transition from study to work and how their skills are utilised. This will be released online, exclusively to our members, the day prior to its public distribution.

We also have two New Horizons webinars coming up this month where attendees will hear from Malcolm Smith, Australasian Cities leader at Arup about The Fifteen Minute Vision concept, and Peter Colacino from Infrastructure Australia who will provide a briefing on the Infrastructure Market Capacity report.

A reminder that our online events are free of charge for all our member organisations; therefore, I encourage you to extend the invite to your colleagues.

Stay safe and well.
