Why Edith Cowan University has joined the Committee for Perth

Edith Cowan University (ECU) shares the Committee for Perth’s vision – to make a positive difference to Perth’s future. ECU is proud to join the Committee as it moves towards opening Perth’s first comprehensive inner-city university campus in 2025.

ECU City Campus is the centrepiece of the $1.5 billion Perth City Deal, announced in September 2020, which brings together the collaborative efforts of the Australian Government, Western Australian Government and City of Perth to help position the city for the future. It is a visionary project for Perth, which will support and create local jobs while returning vibrancy and economic benefits to the city. The campus will attract technology, creative industries and major organisations to Western Australia and will generate investment, new industry and jobs.

ECU looks forward to being part of the Committee’s working groups, in order to deliver positive impact on the future direction of Perth.
