Why FutureNow has joined the Committee for Perth

"I have followed the Committee for Perth’s advocacy, research and policy recommendations for several years and have been impressed by the positive impact that emerges from its work. It appears that the Committee for Perth occupies a quite distinctive strategic position as a result of its non partisan, inclusive and collaborative approach which enables creative and innovative ideas to be explored.

Many of the research areas mirror domains that are explored at FutureNow and also align to my personal interests in placemaking, urban design, amenity and inclusion, architecture and cultural life.

I think the Committee for Perth makes an important contribution to the ‘differentiation of place’ challenges and opportunities that Perth confronts as a result of its unique geographical, cultural and economic position and would like to contribute and be more engaged in these conversations."
